My Little Tail by Jasmin T.

The first time I saw this little girl was when I was only seven, and visiting America. She was a three or four year old who everyone loved because she was the new baby cousin, except me. Everyone drew her pictures, but she didn't give me any paper to draw on because I was apparently the fattest one there. Right then, I disliked her as if she was a mosquito bite that would never go away, so I always complained about her to my mom. All she said was that I had to be nice to her because they were letting us stay at their home for our whole vacation here. One day, I drew a house with butterflies and flowers in the living room. Then my little cousin who I hated so much, Demi, strolled along, but slowed down and stopped when she saw my drawings. I pretended I didn't see her, and she ran into the office room, came back with a pack of paper, and put them on the coffee table. "Here! Draw me something" she pointed to the papers with pencils in her plum-like hands. After that day, this little tail followed me everywhere and everyday. Whether it was the closet, the mall, to even the bathroom where I told her to wait outside, I tried boring her by never interacting with her, but then I got bored too so I just had to talk to her. One day, her father decided to bring us to watch the movie Princess Diaries in the theaters. He's one of those parents who's like a child abuser, but spoils his youngest child and his only girl to the max with everything she wants because he has all the money. An hour before we left, I played Nintendo with her older brother. Next thing I know is that he got his ear pulled and I was told that if I didn't play with Demi, I wasn't allowed to watch the movie with them. I guess I wasn't allowed to have real fun unless it was with Demi for my whole vacation.

Yeah, I guess your similes were kind of creative. I like how you said that Demi was your "tail," i thought that was pretty clever. But it kind of sounds like you didn't really like her, which i think is pretty mean because she was the only one who was nice to you. Well anyways, it was pretty entertaining and well written. Bye.
