Those who don’t work hard are not in Avid. They give up right away. They think it is too hard. They think that they are not capable of being in Avid. They are just people who are lost and can’t find a way out. They don’t try. But we are there to help if they want to. We know they can do it and get in Avid and go to college. All lost , All lost we are there. Yeah, That is how we can go to a good college by working hard.
There have been many times that I have been judged for my appearance and also by my race too. There was once in a soccer game we were playing nationals a very hard tournament and we played against F.C. Slammers. It was a very hard game because they were racist and they were calling use stupid Mexicans and wetbacks and many other names and they were also some dirty players. In one play we couldn’t take it any more and we started a fight and they separated us. They suspended the game and we stayed 00. I felt kind of bad because soccer is not about racism or fighting its about having fun enjoying the sport and giving it everything you got to win the game a prove that you’re a good player and team. I also felt bad because we weren’t calling them names we were gust playing and the names that they were calling us were a little to far so we couldn’t take it any more and a fight happened. I guess the fight wasn’t the right thing but we ended up doing it. We learned from our mistakes and tried not to fight when they were racist.

this story is true those who care try and those who dont give up on not just school but on life as well.
